The Traffic Department of the Ministry of Interior indicated that all roads in the governorates are clear until noon today, except for some roads in the governorates of Damascus, Latakia and Sweida, due to the prevailing weather conditions.
The Traffic Department indicated in its bulletin, of which SANA received a copy, that all roads in the Damascus Countryside Governorate are passable except for Rankous Hosh Arab Road in Al-Tal and Arneh, while Ain Al-Sha`ra in the Qatana area is impassable due to the accumulation of snow.
All roads in Latakia governorate are passable except for Slanfeh, the Al-Ghab broadcasting station is impassable due to the accumulation of snow.
In As-Suwayda, all roads are passable in the governorate, except for the roads leading to the Salkhad area and its villages, and to Al-Ghariya and Melh sub-district, and its villages are impassable with difficulty due to snowfall and fog.
The Traffic Department advised drivers to check the technical condition of the vehicles (brakes, tires, windshield wipers and lights), reduce speed, increase the safety distance, use fog lights, use seatbelts, and not use a mobile phone while driving in all circumstances and conditions to avoid the risks they face on the roads, referring to the allocation of numbers 5411365 and 5422703 for inquiring about road conditions.
