The Traffic Department at the Ministry of Interior indicated that all roads in the governorates are clear until this evening, except for some roads in the governorates of Lattakia and Sweida, due to the prevailing weather conditions.
The Traffic Department clarified in its publication today, of which SANA received a copy, that all roads in Latakia governorate are passable except for “Slunfeh, the broadcasting station .. Al-Ghab” road, which is impassable due to the accumulation of snow.
In addition, all roads are passable in the governorate of As-Suwayda, except for the roads leading to Al-Mushanf district and its villages, and to Al-Ghariya and Malah sub-district, and its villages are impassable due to snowfall and fog.
The Traffic Department advised drivers to check the technical condition of the vehicles “brakes, tires, windshield wipers and lights”, reduce the speed, increase the safety distance, use fog lights, use seatbelts, and not use a mobile phone while driving in all circumstances and conditions to avoid the risks they face on the roads, referring to the assignment of the two numbers “5411365.
