These long-term consequences, the lawyers of the civil parties underlined them in their pleadings.

“There is a before, an after, a life turned upside down”, underlined Me Stéphanie Marcou, who represented the teenager and her family, evoking the worrying repercussions of the facts on her personality: a character today depressive, unstable… “It will take time, according to the expert.

Years, maybe decades to overcome.

"She still feels the pain of the beatings.

She still inhales his scent, underlines the lawyer.

They are also parents who do not want her to grow up in hatred and anger.

"

"It's an ordeal"

Me Stéphanie Marcou read a few words written by the young girl after the fact: “I think about it every minute.

I have a lot of flashbacks.

For over a year my life has been a disaster.

She talks about her nightmares, anxiety attacks in transport.

"I am always on the defensive in the street", says the victim, who thinks of his relatives, of his father who could not help him.

“The challenge for the victims was to confront their attacker for the first time.

The stake is not worth it.

It is the understanding, that of their discomfort, which will be able to bring them to their reconstruction ", he had underlined at the beginning of his plea, before concluding it:" The only explanation that he gave is the alcohol.

This motive alone is an injustice to the victims.

It is not satisfactory.

Alcohol is not the only source of this affair.

It is a way for him to push back his responsibility.

"

The Advocate General had previously required eighteen years of criminal imprisonment with a two-thirds security period, fifteen years of socio-judicial monitoring.

He chose young vulnerable women, to satisfy his immediate sexual needs and his desire for domination, ”she said.

She also describes "a chaotic judicial course", with eighteen records in the record, "without ever taking the measure of his actions".

Facts of extreme gravity for the prosecution: “Rape is an invasion of the body, it is a psychic murder, a murder of the soul.

Civil parties will have to live with their whole life.
