In the dispute with the British pharmaceutical company AstraZeneca over reduced vaccine deliveries, the EU Commission published the contract.
The company has agreed to disclosure of confidential information such as financial details, said the Brussels authority.
Parts of the contract have been blacked out.
The "Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung" had previously reported that AstraZeneca boss Pascal Soriot wanted to submit a compromise proposal.
The company wants to take back part of the delivery cut announced last week to the EU.
According to EU politicians, the company announced last week that instead of 80 million vaccine doses in the first quarter, it would only deliver 31 million to the EU.
The »FAZ« now quotes an EU representative who continues to expect a significant reduction in deliveries: »It is not likely that we will end up with 80 million.
But it should be significantly more than 31. "
World Medical President calls for vaccine export ban
The world medical president Frank Ulrich Montgomery criticized the company sharply and called for an export ban for the vaccine.
"The behavior of AstraZeneca is underground," said Montgomery to the editorial network Germany.
"It cannot be that the company exactly keeps its delivery promises for Great Britain, but only delivers a fraction of the vaccine doses promised for the EU," criticized Montgomery and called for a "hard" reaction from the EU.
"If the vaccine is produced on continental European soil, the company must be prohibited from shipping it outside the EU."
Federal Health Minister Jens Spahn (CDU) had already brought up an export ban for vaccines.
Meanwhile, EU Commission chief Ursula von der Leyen urges AstraZeneca to make clear delivery commitments.
"What I ask is transparency and planning security," said von der Leyen on Deutschlandfunk.
