Archbishop Atallah Hanna, Archbishop of Sebastia, affirmed that Syria has adopted the Palestinian cause since the rape of Palestine in 1948 and is still defending it, saluting its steadfast people, army and leadership in the face of the aggression that has targeted it for years.
In a statement to the Syrian channel this evening, Bishop Hanna indicated that those who conspired against Syria are and are still the same who conspired against Palestine and are seeking to liquidate the Palestinian cause.
Bishop Hanna reiterated that occupied Jerusalem is facing real danger as a result of the attacks of the Israeli occupation entity and its settlement and Judaization plans, stressing that the Palestinian people will not surrender to the occupation practices against them and will continue to defend their identity and their Arab and Islamic sanctities.
