After a week of dispute with Astrazeneca, the European Union activated a control system on pharmaceutical companies.
From this Saturday, the block regulates exports of vaccines against covid-19.
With this tool, the European Union wants to make sure that it receives the purchased doses and that the pharmaceutical companies do not prioritize other markets, in order to achieve vaccination goals.
