The dignitaries emphasized that the people of the province are all one hand behind their leadership and their army to preserve civil peace and at the same time lift the unjust siege on the cities of Hasaka and Qamishli.

During the meeting, the governor affirmed his keenness on national unity and not compromising civil peace despite the unjust siege practiced by those who had pledged themselves to the occupier and used live bullets to disperse the peaceful protests, which shouted to preserve national unity, demand their rights and lift the siege imposed on them for more than two weeks.

Al-Khalil said: “We will not be satisfied with this difficult humanitarian situation, and all the people of the province, with their Arab and Kurdish clans, and from the various components categorically reject these practices ... Every honorable Syrian citizen must take an honorable stance and contribute to lifting the siege on his people.

The governor of Hasaka emphasized that the Syrian Kurds are an essential component of the Syrian people, and they have rights and duties like the rest of the people, and these militias and what they contain only represent themselves. They are tools that the American occupier used to achieve its goals, plunder our resources, steal our goods, and work to create discord between the people of the same nation, reminding the American and Turkish occupations conspiring. During the invasion of the Turkish regime forces, the Afrin region, which is today being looted, looted and changed in all forms, displacement and displacement.

The "Qasd militia" associated with the American occupation continues to impose a suffocating siege on the city center of Hasaka, preventing the entry of vehicles, transportation, food supplies, water tanks and other daily basic needs for the people of the city.
