Since Godfather was killed in December when the vehicle he was traveling in overturned at the end of a police chase, widespread protests against the police have begun, and there has also been an increase in incidents of violence against Palestinians.

According to Yesh Din, since Godfather's death, they have had 51 reports of settlers harming Palestinians in the territories.

In most cases, it is a matter of blocking major intersections by settlers and throwing stones at Palestinian vehicles.

The organization also said it knew of at least 14 people injured in those incidents, including two children.

In 11 of the cases, it was reported that settlers invaded Palestinian settlements and threw stones at residents and houses.

In 3 of the cases, settlers, who were armed with cold weapons, attacked Palestinian farmers.
