Occupied Jerusalem - SANA
The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs renewed its request to the Secretary-General of the United Nations and the Security Council to assume their responsibilities imposed by international law and to provide international protection for the Palestinian people.
In a statement carried by Wafa Agency, the Foreign Ministry condemned the crimes of the occupation forces and settlers and their continuous attacks on the Palestinians, their land and property to eliminate the Palestinian presence and implement their colonial expansion plans, noting that the latest of these attacks is the escalation of the settlers' storming of Khan al-Laban al-Athri, south of Nablus, in preparation for taking it over.
The Foreign Ministry warned against dealing with settler attacks as normal and familiar things that are repeated daily, regardless of their danger to Palestinian rights and their disastrous consequences for the opportunity to establish a geographically connected and sovereign Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital.
