The resignation from the political life of Knesset member and former minister Avi Nissenkorn, who was like a finger in the eye for many months to many on the right, unexpectedly aroused satisfaction among ministers and MKs from the right-wing bloc.

"Nissenkorn brought about the dissolution of the government and went to unnecessary elections out of personal utilitarianism and in the end left politics," Transport Minister Miri Regev said on Facebook.

"He is the example of politicians from the studio parties on the left and in the center, without responsibility and ability to understand the complex public arena we are in, especially in this period."

The Religious Zionist Party linked the departure of Nissenkorn to the joining of Adv. Simcha Rotman to the party last week - as a kind of "Game Changer". "Nissenkorn left.

Rothman came.

We are returning sanity to the justice system. "

In "Jewish Power" they said that "for such a thing it is customary to say 'Blessed are we who have been fired'. We know very well that they have no chance of getting support at the ballot box, and they have no choice but to rely on the judicial dictatorship. "

"Talking to everyone"

The abandonment of Nissenkorn indicates more than anything the situation of the center-left camp, which can hardly be called a "camp" or a "bloc".

Ron Huldai, chairman of the "Israelis" party, which Nissenkorn left following tensions between the two, regretted the former justice minister's decision yesterday and admitted that his own expectations crashed on the polls: "I learned a lesson not to smell polls, I continue my efforts, this is my life's mission At this time, "Huldai noted last night in a videotaped announcement. His entourage estimates that he will not resign, even though his party no longer passes the blocking percentage in the polls, after it began its path with nine seats.

"I am a realistic person, I regretted the retirement of Nissenkorn. In the days we have left until the lists are closed, we must take care of the formation of the center-left," he hoped.

"Unfortunately," Huldai continued, "today within us we are too divided, and in this confrontation we must reach the full potential that the camp has to offer, not by momentary surveys but by the essence and logical analysis of reality. I talked and I talk to everyone. Everyone has desires and aspirations. "But I believe that in common sense we will be able to reach agreements."

Earlier yesterday, Nissenkorn justified his retirement from political life in a left-wing crash, as it turns out.

"When the camp needs connections to survive, and there is a multiplicity of parties and candidates, it is also permissible to know how to step aside and take a break. That is what I do today. I will continue to help as much as possible in the fight against corruption, division and incitement, His decision.

Tomorrow: Primaries in "Work"

The Labor Party, which received a significant boost following the election of chairman Merav Michaeli, will hold the primary elections for its list for the Knesset tomorrow. Michaeli, who brought a burst of energy to the party that was drowsy and off, prefers to concentrate on primaries. Present as a winning team.

Among the dozens of candidates are former Knesset members Amar Bar-Lev and Nachman Shai and MK Ram Shefa, who went from work with a white brush.

Other prominent names are the journalist Haim Har-Zehav, the TV presenter and former children's star Efrat Reitan, along with the educator and Holocaust researcher Aryeh Barnea and Adv. Smadar Dekel Naim, who is active in the subject of civil marriage.

Voting will be digital and the results are expected tomorrow evening.

The work noted that since the election of Michaeli as chairman, 8,000 new functionaries have been added.
