The Strasbourg native of Moroccan origin, Abdelhaq Nabaoui, doctor in nuclear physics, wants to believe it.
For the former president of the Regional Council of Muslim Worship, the National School of Religious Executives and Muslim Chaplains - which should open next September - responds to Emmanuel Macron's desire to counter Islamist separatism and to put an end to the system of detached imams.

For two years, the National School of Muslim Chaplaincy, created in Ostwald, near Strasbourg, with the support of the former president of the Fondation de l'islam de France, Jean-Pierre Chevènement, has trained around twenty participants per year, 70% of whom are women.
The 1,400 m² building, belonging to a religious association, is large enough to accommodate, from September, around twenty students interested in a new course, who will pay 800 euros per year.
