Distance learning and lengthening closure make it very difficult for students to prepare for matriculation, and above all she has noticed mathematics that keeps sleep out of the eyes of many students.
Tomorrow (Monday) thousands of students will approach the winter matriculation in mathematics, with almost a year of irregular studies behind them, which greatly raises the challenge they face.
At the beginning of the school year, the soldiers of Unit 8200 initiated a project called "E Tachem", in collaboration with the National Excellence Program in the Ministry of Education, in which 50 volunteers mentor one or two students individually, once a week, for matriculation exams in mathematics, English, physics and computer science.
The unit educates boys from peripheral localities, including Dimona, Beit She'an, Migdal Haemek, Afula, Netivot, Tiberias and more.
In preparation for the winter matriculation in mathematics, which takes place on the first of February, ten soldiers from the unit decided to hold a marathon of solving the matriculation exam in three different sessions.
About 100 students registered for the marathon, and the success, according to the unit, is enormous.
"During the year, Unit 8200 identified the significant challenge in the field of matriculation learning," says Deputy Commander 8200 Digital, Colonel X. The winter in mathematics is part of the same effort, in partnership with the Ministry of Education and for the benefit of the students. "
Gali Ort, an 11th grade student from Beit She'an: "My tutor from Unit 8200 helped me a lot in the last few months and guided me. During the caravan it was very difficult to study and I don't know how I would approach matriculation at the end of the year without the support."
