The Council of Sheikhs and Notables of Syrian Tribes and Tribes in Al-Hasakah condemned the unjust siege imposed by the "Qasd militia" in partnership with the American occupation and considered it a war crime against the people in the cities of Hasaka and Qamishli.

The statement affirmed that, out of concern for peace and security, “the council calls on the leaders of the SDF to quickly lift the siege and to show consensus and freedom from slavery for the American who wants to take the Syrian Jazira region to the abyss of sedition to ensure his survival on its land in order to steal oil and exchange his presence in political solutions deals. The statement concluded by saluting the heroic martyr Muhammad al-Raheel, who was martyred today by the bullets of the "Qasd militia", the protesters and all the besieged people of Hasaka and Qamishli, wishing a speedy recovery for the wounded.
