The online registration for the corona vaccination is actively used by the citizens of the Ebersberg district.
The first attempt to make appointments this way, however, went wrong.
As soon as there is more vaccine, it shouldn't happen again.

- 18,588 people in the district have already registered online for a Covid-19 vaccination, the district office announced as of Friday.
That is 18,588 expressions of hope for protection against the corona virus.
But so far not a single one has been fulfilled.
The main reason for this is the lack of vaccines.
However, the first attempt also technically failed: “As of today, not a single contact has been made via the registration portal,” said District Administrator Robert Niedergesäß (CSU) on Friday.
However, the Ministry of Health suspects a breakdown in the Ebersberg vaccination center.
There those responsible again insist that they have acted in accordance with the requirements.
The online allocation failed for 30 cans
So far there are 30 cans that could not be given to those registered on the online list.
The scarce vaccine was first inoculated in old people's homes;
the registrations for appointments at the vaccination center were handled by the hotline.
If the employees there can allocate a quota of vaccination doses, an appointment is made directly.
The number of callers shows how desperately people try to get one: 1000 to 2000 per day, sometimes even more.
The portal www.impfzentren.bayern will now handle the scheduling of appointments.

If you have problems online, the District Office promises that you can be entered in the online register via the vaccination hotline (08092) 86 31 40.

In Ebersberg there was a lot of guesswork as to why the online database did not spit out any appointments when vaccination center boss Liam Klages recently initiated the first 30 invitations on a trial basis.
“Nothing happened,” he says.

The Ministry of Health, on the other hand, said when asked by EZ: The vaccination center had wrongly not released dates for the second vaccination at the same time.
Therefore, the system blocked the award.
"There are no Bavaria-wide problems with BayIMCO," said a ministry spokeswoman.
Vaccine shortage: it will take some time until the next attempt
The vaccination center boss now wants to contact the ministry and software manufacturer again to investigate the problem, he told EZ on the phone on Sunday.
In the future, those willing to vaccinate who have entered the database should also have a chance.
"We would like to award the next round via the software," announced Klages.
"As soon as the vaccine is back." However, the district office is only assuming a minimal number of first vaccine doses in the coming week, if anything comes at all.

An algorithm decides who is invited to make an appointment via SMS and email after registering online.
According to its own statement, the vaccination center has no influence on this, nor does it have access to the data of the invitees.
This should prevent data misuse and preferential treatment.
But the fact that it is not clear who the algorithm has invited pisses off those responsible.
"That has to be changed as soon as possible," said the district administrator.
The Ministry of Health announced to the Ebersberger Zeitung that the list of people registered for a certain day would be available to the vaccination center from Tuesday.
According to the Ministry of Health, the algorithm also prioritizes older people within the 80 plus age cohort, i.e. the 96-year-old comes to a vaccination appointment before the 80-year-old, even if she signed up later.
