The head of the Iranian Islamic Consultative Assembly, Muhammad Baqir Qalibaf, called on the administration of US President Joe Biden to prove its practical commitment to the nuclear agreement instead of "setting conditions" if it really believed in this agreement.
The Iranian News Agency (IRNA) quoted Qalibaf as saying during the Shura Council meeting today that "if America believes in the nuclear agreement, it should prove its commitment in practice instead of setting conditions."
Qalibaf described the recent statements of members of the US administration, including the foreign minister, regarding Iran as "frustrating," stressing that the Biden administration should "show how it wants to implement its commitment to lift the embargo in practice instead of setting conditions for implementing its obligations."
Qalibaf considered that the rotation of the wheel of the centrifuges and enrichment by 20 percent has made the position of the Iranian diplomatic apparatus "strong to work to lift the ban."
And Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif confirmed in statements to him yesterday that the statements of members of the new US administration regarding the nuclear agreement signed with Iran in 2015 are illogical.
