The national poem and its values of love for the land and the martyr were present as part of the activities of the Al-Bayariq Cultural Forum, which is held for the second day at the Cultural Center in Homs under the title “Love of the nation brings us together” with the participation of a number of poets from Homs, Tartous and Hama.
Poet Issa Issa presented a vertical poem entitled “Mother of the Country,” through which he restored images of the glories of Syria, the country of love and civilizations, and the science, art and heritage provided by humanity.
In turn, the poet Ali Sweidan, in his patriotic poem “Mother of the Martyr,” sang the sacrifices of this great mother who gave her country the most valuable possessions she possessed and remained as tall as an oak tree.
The poet Darine Al-Mahdad wove the phrases of her poem "The Land of Glory" to express the sacrifices of the martyrs and their blood that spilled the homeland and achieved victory, while the poet Abed Anqa shared a national poem entitled "Sham Al-Majd", which talks about the land of the Levant, its nobility and the treachery that befell it and its stance against tyrants.
In his poem “The Granddaughters of Khawla and Al-Khansaa,” the poet Suleiman Shaheen sang the heroics of Syrian women during the war and their standing side by side with the heroes of the Syrian Arab Army.
