The Traffic Department at the Ministry of Interior indicated that all roads in the governorates are passable except for some in the governorates of Hama, Lattakia and As-Suwayda, which are impassable or impassable with difficulty due to the prevailing weather conditions.
The Traffic Department stated in its evening bulletin, of which SANA received a copy, that all roads in Hama governorate are passable except for the Shathah Jubah Burghal road and the Jurin Slunfeh road, which is impassable due to snow accumulation.
In As-Suwayda governorate, all roads are passable except for the roads leading to the Al-Mashhanf sub-district and its villages, due to the accumulation of snow and dense fog.
The Traffic Department advised drivers to check the vehicle’s technical condition (brakes, tires, windshield wipers and lights), reduce speed, increase safety distance, and use fog lights, noting that it has designated numbers 5422703 and 5411365 to inquire about road conditions.
