Ten protesters were injured in an initial outcome as a result of renewed confrontations with the Lebanese security forces in the city of Tripoli, northern Lebanon, this evening.
The operations room of the Emergency and Relief Service in Tripoli stated that nine people were treated in the field, while one injury was transferred to a hospital in the city, noting that eight ambulance teams are working to ambulance and transport the wounded in the confrontations between the protesters and the security forces in Abdul Hamid Karami Square and its surroundings.
The protests were renewed in Tripoli earlier today, calling for an improvement in the living situation.
