Two men from the district of Dachau are suspected of stealing spare parts from their employer, a truck workshop in the district of Munich, over a period of around nine months and reselling them via the Internet.
According to the Munich police headquarters, the stolen parts were worth several thousand euros.
The investigation revealed that several vehicle parts for trucks were being offered via an online sales platform.
Due to the composition of the vehicle parts, a check was carried out at the central warehouse of the truck workshop.
The suspicion that it could be stolen goods was strengthened.
In the course of further investigations, a 33-year-old from Dachau, who worked in the workshop, was suspected of being the seller of the parts.
The police also found a 28-year-old resident in the Dachau district, a former employee in the workshop, as another suspect.
During searches, officers from the Munich Criminal Police Office found stolen property and other evidence that the suspects were acting together with commercial intent.
The two men were released after the identification service.
