They lived 20 minutes apart in Miami, Florida for years, but fate decided to bring together Sgt. DA, a fighter in the Border Police's undercover unit, and Sgt.

D., 25, who lives in Holon, immigrated to Israel about three years ago.

He was sent to Tribute Alon to learn Hebrew in the studio.

Shoshana, 21, who lives in Jerusalem, also immigrated to Israel about three years ago to enlist, studied at a preparatory school and was sent to Tribute Alon.

The two grew up in different homes, but with similar values: they both dreamed of immigrating to Israel and serving as warriors, and their families stayed in the United States. The two recognized a course that prepares new immigrants for service in Tribute Oak.

At the end of the course, the two were assigned to training in the Border Police, and at the end of it, D. was formed and graduated with honors from an undercover unit and was assigned to the Jerusalem Border Police as a fighter.

D. and Shoshana have been in a relationship for two and a half years.

They say that warriors do not have much free time together, but they manage to find the time in between to meet.

Sometimes they even meet in the field while working in the same sector.

A few weeks ago D. and Shoshana decided to surprise their families and flew to the USA. Shoshana did not know that the surprise was mainly at her expense: during the visit D. took out a ring and offered her marriage. When she agreed, the two families appeared to rejoice with them.

The two returned to Israel for joint isolation, where they managed to enjoy private quality time.

During it they had already planned the wedding and we had already booked a hall, a photographer and a DJ.

D. and Shoshana say that it was clear to both of them that they would get married in Jerusalem, since for them it would be a closing circle to get married in the holy place where they serve together.

They say that they plan to settle in Israel, D. has begun permanent recruitment procedures in the unit and Shoshana has enrolled in law studies at IDC in Herzliya.
