SPD left-wing course upsets the Bundeswehr: "Anyone who is a soldier in the SPD must be capable of suffering"

The chairmen Saskia Esken and Norbert Walter-Borjans and parliamentary group leader Rolf Mützenich bring comrades in uniform against them. Have the Social Democrats said goodbye as a soldiers' party?

It's just before Christmas and Comrade Jörg Beuschel has to let go of pressure.

The lieutenant colonel from Baden writes to the SPD chairwoman Saskia Esken that he has been "mostly a proud social democrat" for almost three decades, but "that's enough".

And then he starts.

Did the SPD postpone the decision to procure armed drones to think again?

I beg your pardon?

As a law graduate, he considers himself “sufficiently experienced in substantiating thin points of view”, writes Beuschel, “but I can't think of anything else”.

That was an "intellectual failure, another declaration of bankruptcy by my SPD in the field of foreign and security policy."

If one absolutely wants to keep the Social Democrats below 15 percent, one can demand a speed limit of 90 on motorways "more easily and, above all, with less consequences".

Why should one attack defense policy of all things?

"I can't take much more of it without having to draw personal conclusions," writes Comrade Beuschel.
