In the Landes, 56 roads, especially secondary departmental axes, were cut Monday at midday, 17 more than the day before, according to a report from the departmental road coordination.

About fifty other roads remained under surveillance.

The Landes firefighters have carried out more than 80 outings in around forty municipalities since the start of the Justine phenomenon, mainly non-serious interventions for clearing trees on the track, and drying up of premises.

In several municipalities such as Tartas, Ondres, Luxey, neighborhoods had their feet in the water.

Landes, Gironde and Lot-et-Garonne are among 21 departments, most in a large south-western quarter, in vigilance orange floods or rains-floods, with trends still increasing Monday on several rivers and streams, overflows expected, also in the Dordogne, and new precipitation expected until Tuesday.
