Asked on RTL this Monday morning, the boss of Bercy, Bruno Le Maire, denounced the “
few isolated cases
” of restaurateurs promising to reopen this February 1, despite the ban.
"
The vast majority
" of the profession respects the rules, greeted the minister, adding that despite their "
extremely harsh
situation
[...] it does not in any way justify not respecting the rules which are primarily sanitary
".

The recalcitrant, as well as the fraudsters welcoming customers in the room despite the ban, a big risk, said the minister: "
all those who remain open, from the moment they do not respect the rules, will be suspended for a month access to the solidarity fund
”.
And, even more serious, repeat offenders will “no
longer have access to it at all
”.
A way to dissuade those who would like to defy the authorities.
Likewise, open businesses are invited to scrupulously respect the gauges governing the maximum number of customers on site.
Those who do not apply them risk "
a fine first, then a closure

Misses
" in the organization of the second confinement
Preferred to new confinement, the strengthening of the curfew is "
the choice of the accountability of the French
", also noted Bruno Le Maire.
The executive "
calls once again for the responsibility of the French, who have shown an exceptional capacity for resistance in recent weeks
", but who must "
hold out for a few more days
", called the minister.
The reinforced curfew obviously weighs less, economically, than the confinement, in the order of 6 billion euros per month against 15 billion, respectively.
The new measures announced this Friday evening will cost "
500 million euros more
", but this difference of nearly nine billion euros between the two forms of restrictions remains massive and "
limits the economic damage
".
In shopping centers and for brands of more than 20,000 m2, stores having to lower the curtain, or about “
25,000 shops
”, will be compensated “
completely and quickly
” and will have access to all the mechanisms put in place by the government.

It is normal that from the moment we close them, they are helped
", noted Bruno Le Maire.
Their rents should in particular be taken care of, he said.
The treatment of the solidarity fund "
is being improved
", added the minister.
In addition, contrary to what was put in place during the second confinement, businesses remaining open, i.e. supermarkets and hypermarkets selling food products, will be able to sell all types of products.
Exit, therefore, the distinction between essential and non-essential products.

We have learned from our mistakes
", noted Bruno Le Maire, recognizing "
misses
" during the second confinement, which gave "
ubiquitous scenes
" in open establishments, where some departments were closed and no other.

social spring
", as argued by the boss of the CGT, Philippe Martinez.

The French want a very short spring, not a social spring, of revolt, of conflict.
On the contrary, they need appeasement, social, human contacts, everything except conflict,

The ministry's services will ensure that there are "
no windfall social plans
", and possible abuses "
will be sanctioned
", said the minister.
He therefore defended "the
very opposite of what Mr. Martinez proposes
", defending a "
gathering of French forces to rebuild, find each other
