"Right now, they're the best team in the NBA, they play amazingly, they've signed 11 straight wins, they have a lot of skill," Jokic said of Utah who had remained undefeated since the January 6.
"It's a great victory for us".
This loss of the Jazz, combined with the success of the Los Angeles Clippers (129-115) against the Knicks in New York, allows Kawhi Leonard's team to overtake Utah at the top of the Western Conference.

The Knicks do not resist the Clippers
At Madison Square Garden, Kawhi Leonard scored 28 points in the Los Angeles Clippers' victory over the Knicks (129-115).
The imposing New York defense, the most impervious in the league in terms of the number of points conceded per game, only held up half time.
After switching with one point in advance, the Clippers broke away in the third quarter.
The moment when Leonard and Reggie Jackson took matters into their own hands and each scored ten points.
Wizards wake up to Brooklyn
Bradley Beal and Russell Westbrook were the driving force behind the Washington Wizards' 149-146 win over Brooklyn in a game between the league's top two scorers, Beal and Nets star Kevin Durant, which promised fireworks.
A three-point shot from Beal 8.1 seconds from the buzzer, allowed the Wizards to return to two points (146-144).
Then a new three-point basket from Westbrook four seconds later put Washington in front for the first time since the second quarter.
The victory was sealed by two free throws from Beal, author of 37 points with five rebounds and four assists.
"For now, all that matters is that we have a victory," retained, after four losses in a row, Westbrook, who collected 41 points, 10 rebounds and eight assists.
Opposite, Durant's 37 points were not enough for the Nets, without James Harden - who was treating a contusion in his thigh.
In front of Brooklyn, second in the East, Philadelphia consolidated its leadership position with a 119-110 success with the Pacers.
In the other matches, Toronto beat Orlando 115-102 and Minnesota won 109-104 against Cleveland.
