The Egyptian Ministry of Health and Population announced the registration of 541 new infections and 44 deaths from the Coronavirus during the past twenty-four hours.
The spokesman for the ministry, Dr. Khaled Mujahid, said in a statement that the total number of Coronavirus infections in Egypt has so far reached 166,492, and deaths reached 9,360.
Mujahid indicated that 471 recoverers from infection with Coronavirus have been discharged from hospitals, bringing the total of those recovering to 130,107 until today.
