According to the information revealed, a unit of the SJ District Police has been operating an undercover agent for the past six months, who has carried out dozens of weapons purchases throughout Judea and Samaria.

As part of his operation, the agent purchased weapons and ammunition of various types on several occasions: 5 M16 rifles, two Carlo rifles, 3 pistols, a heavy machine gun, an Ozone weapon and ammunition for hundreds of thousands of shekels.

This morning in a large-scale operation in which many forces of the Israel Police, the Border Police and the IDF forces participated and within which a number of special units operated, the operation became covert and overt, with the arrest of 27 suspects.

Of these, 22 Palestinians are residents of Judea and Samaria, 5 Israelis are residents of Wadi Ara.
