The General Electricity Company of Homs Governorate continues the maintenance work of low and medium voltage lines in separate areas of the countryside and the city affected by the depression and the strong winds that the region witnessed during the past few days.
The director of the company, Eng. Saleh Omran, said in a statement to SANA today that the damage was concentrated in the medium tension lines in the areas of Qattina, Al-Nahri, Ain Al-Tanour, Al-Ekhwar, Al-Alban, Al-Baroudia, Al-Qusayr, Al-Vocational School, Al-Majd, and Tal Zubaida.
He pointed out that maintenance work has been completed in the areas of Tal Zubaida, Al Qusayr and Al Baroudia, and work is continuing to maintain all faults in tension lines caused by wind and rain.
