The Lunar New Year is approaching, and the Observatory expects to celebrate the New Year with a "warm hat" this year.

The Observatory predicts that a strong northeast monsoon will affect the south China coast tomorrow (3rd) and bring slightly cooler weather to the area.

The monsoon will gradually be replaced by a warm and humid ocean air later this week.

The Observatory predicts that due to high-altitude disturbances, the weather in southern China will be unstable and rainy in the middle of next week.

The Observatory predicts that the weather in Hong Kong will be generally fine from Saturday (6th) onwards, and it will be warm during the day, with a maximum temperature of 25 degrees.

Next Thursday (11th) is the "Thirty Night". The Observatory expects sunshine during part of the day, and the temperature in the urban area will be between 18 and 23 degrees Celsius.

The weather is warm, and citizens can dress lightly when eating reunion dinners.

In addition, the pressure in southeastern China is rising, and it is expected that a northern monsoon will reach the coastal areas of Guangdong later today.

The Observatory expects that the weather will be fine and dry today, with warm days and haze in some areas.

The wind blows slightly to gentle northeasterly, and then the easterly wind strengthens and there are more clouds.

Looking forward to the Observatory, the wind will be stronger and slightly cooler tomorrow, with temperatures ranging from 17 to 21 degrees.

From the latter part of this week to the beginning of next week, Hong Kong is warm and humid. From Saturday (6th) to next Monday (8th) there will be a few mists in the morning and evening, with the highest temperature reaching 25 degrees, and the relative humidity ranging from 65% to 95% .

Among them, next Monday is the 27th year of the year, and citizens can prepare for "cleaning" in warm weather.

On the 28th of next Tuesday (9th) and the 29th of next Wednesday (10th), the Observatory predicts that there will be rain on two days, while the weather will be slightly cooler on the 29th, with temperatures ranging from 18 to 21 degrees.

On the New Year’s Eve next Thursday (11th), according to the tradition, the whole family will gather for a New Year dinner. The observatory expects sunshine during part of the day and the temperature is between 18 and 23 degrees.

According to the Observatory’s extended forecast, the latest computer model predicts that the highest temperature will be around 18-21 degrees from the first day of the year (12th) to the fourth day (15th) of the new year, which is slightly cooler than before the new year.
