The Secretary-General of the Collective Security Treaty Organization, Stanislav Zas, warned of the danger of the presence of terrorist mercenaries of the Turkish regime in Nagorny Karabakh, stressing that all mercenaries must leave, whether they are Syrians or others.
“We had information about the presence of armed men from Syria in the conflict zone in Nagorny Karabakh and we considered this as a specific risk to our countries and our bloc,” Zas said at a press conference today in Moscow. “Where are these militants now .. Are they there or left the region. It is difficult for me to answer this question. ”
"We proceed from the assumption that any mercenaries, whether they are Syrian militants or others, must leave this land because the establishment of groups of militants near the borders of the member states of the Collective Security Treaty Organization poses risks to our collective security," Zass added.
More than once, the Armenian Ministry of Defense confirmed the Turkish regime’s involvement in sending thousands of mercenaries from its terrorists in Syria to Nagorno Karabakh with the aim of fueling the conflict that was going on there between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
