The eight professional teams of the Hong Kong Super League have been suspended for nearly two months since the fourth wave of the epidemic broke out in December.
The Football Association said today (2nd) that it has been approved by the government to allow the Hong Kong Super League team to resume operations as soon as tomorrow.
The local professional football league Hong Kong Super League has actively sought to restart training in the past two months. It was given the green light by the Civil Affairs Bureau yesterday and will resume operations tomorrow (2nd).
FA Chairman Bei Junqi revealed that the professional players of the Hong Kong Super League have been tested for viruses every week for the past two months in order to be ready to exercise at any time. All the results of the latest round of tests are negative, which means that all professional players will be able to enter tomorrow. "Isolate the bubble" and start practicing.
There are 5 designated courts for the resumption of exercises, namely the Jockey Club Kitchee Centre (Jieche), the Jockey Club Hong Kong Football Association Football Training Center (Oriental Dragon Lions, Lee Man, The Peak), and the auxiliary court of Wong Chuk Hang Sports Ground ( Guanzhong South District), Kowloon Bay Park Stadium (Yuyuan) and Tianye Road Football Stadium (Tin Shui Wai Pegasus).

The Hong Kong Super League team's resumption of the epidemic prevention plan this time is basically the same as last September. Players still need to observe measures such as regular testing, home isolation and point-to-point transportation.
However, the government requires the FA to meet three additional conditions:
1. Team players need to use the "Travel with Peace" app to practice on the court;
2. The Football Association should strengthen random checks on the isolation of professional players;
3. If a professional player is found to be in violation, the whole team will be fined to stop practice.
In addition, the government also needs to report more information to the teams and the Football Association. In addition to the list of professional players, the information of the players and drivers in the same vehicle when the players use point-to-point traffic to and from the stadium and residence must also be reported to the relevant government departments every day.
The eight clubs held a meeting with the FA today and approved the resumption of exercises under the above conditions.
Bei Junqi said that the club has also reached a consensus to restart the game two weeks after the resumption, and the FA will strive to start the rematch as soon as the sixth day of the year (February 17).
Bei Junqi said: "As long as everything goes well during the resumption of exercises, I am confident that the rematch will go smoothly as scheduled."
