The Turkish regime authorities issued arrest warrants for 329 people under the pretext of their association with the organization of the preacher Fethullah Gülen, whom the authorities of this regime accuse of being behind the coup d'état in the country in 2016.
The Anatolia News Agency, speaking on behalf of the Turkish regime, quoted the Attorney General’s office in Istanbul as saying in a statement today .. that arrest warrants were issued against 294 people in 42 cities belonging to Istanbul province, 292 of whom were in service or dismissed from it.
In turn, a security source said that, in a separate operation in the western province of Balq Asir, arrest warrants were issued for seven people, of whom five were arrested, and also in the governorate of Edirne, arrest warrants were issued for 20 persons, including dismissed army officers, lawyers, police officers, doctors and teachers, while the police arrested 8 people in Kocaeli province .
Since the coup attempt in mid-July 2016, the regime of Recep Tayyip Erdogan has launched a campaign of arrests and dismissals from work that included all public sectors and led to the arrest of tens of thousands of opponents and the dismissal or suspension of work of about 150 thousand government employees, members of the army, police, judiciary, media and others.
