A man who wanted to buy his son a McDonald's children's meal arrived at the fast food giant's branch in the city of Leeds in the Yorkshire region of the UK, but all his requests for service were refused.
The reason for this: Due to Corona's limitations in the UK, McDonald's only operates in the Mac Drive format.
The same man does not have a car, so the network representatives did not allow him to order a dish through the service window.
Those who saw the event were Sherry Claire and her son, who had bought a meal from the same stand earlier.
Claire decided to intervene, and suggested that she buy a children's meal for that person's son.
The seller refused, as she had already completed her purchase.
"The man was very polite and not angry for a moment. The restaurant did not help him nor did he accept the offer we would buy for him. At this point my son just took the dish I bought him and gave it to that person's child," Claire said on her Twitter page.
A guy tried to take his son for a happy meal today, but did not have a car.
They refused to serve him as he did not have a car, he was still polite.
We offered to get his son a happy meal, McDonald's refused to serve us.
So my son went over & gave his meal to the boy.

In another post, she noted that "McDonald's representatives at the place said that no one should buy this child a meal. It's just awfully sad. I really do not understand the difference between a person who comes with a car and one who comes on foot and wears a mask. It is exactly the same."
Claire's statuses have garnered thousands of shares and likes, leading to a great deal of anger from many people over the company's attitude.
McDonald's, realizing the potential for damage, responded to the ad: "We keep customers healthy so we could not serve the person. The seller at the window offered the person to come to the restaurant entrance and there they would help him, but he chose not to do so."
