Yuval Carmi is the psychologist from Jerusalem who is suspected of sexual offenses in patients

The Jerusalem Magistrate's Court allowed the name of the 66-year-old psychologist to be published, against whom three complaints were filed by patients as well as one by another woman.

Carmi admitted to some of the acts he committed on a 20-year-old patient and claimed that they were done with consent

Yuval Carmi, a 66-year-old resident of Jerusalem, is the psychologist suspected of sexual offenses in patients, including a young woman in her 20s - this is what the Magistrate's Court in the city allowed today (Tuesday).

The decision was made following a request by the police to publish his name on the grounds that this might help advance the investigation, as there was a suspicion that more patients were injured.

At a hearing last week, a police spokesman said he admitted to the acts, but at the same time his defense attorney said he claimed they were done with consent when the patient was aware of her condition and even on her own initiative.

Judge Elazar Bialin granted the psychologist's defense attorney's request and banned the publication of his name, extending his detention by five days.

The psychologist was arrested last week, and since his arrest two more complaints have been filed against him by patients.

Another woman also filed a complaint against him.

Since his arrest, two complaints have been received from other patients.

Complainant apparently came for treatment due to a previous sexual assault as well as following the murder of Shira Banki at the Pride Parade.

She has been treated by the suspect for several years, and the offenses attributed to him relate to acts he allegedly committed last month.
