The former third line, essential figure of the France team, died at 71 years of age following a stroke. Relive in video the exceptional career of this legendary player.


During the historic Grand Slam carried out by the XV of France in 1977 (with the same fifteen players!), Jean-Pierre Bastiat had registered a test remained in the memories against Ireland, which had offered the victory to the Blues.
