Syrian Ambassador to Tehran Dr. “Shafiq Dayoub” discussed with the head of the joint Iranian-Syrian Chamber of Commerce “Kiwan Kashfi” and the accompanying delegation ways to enhance economic cooperation between the two friendly countries and peoples in light of the plots, pressures, coercive measures and unjust penalties they are exposed to.

Ambassador Diop stressed the importance of implementing the agreements and memoranda of understanding concluded between the two countries in order to meet the achievement of increased trade exchange and expansion of joint investments to provide the requirements of the production process in the industrial, production and developmental sector in Syria and to raise this cooperation to the level of political and strategic relations.

Ambassador Diop stressed that many measures are needed to develop industrial cities in Syria, rebuild factories that were damaged by terrorism in the past ten years, and participate in the Syrian market.

Ambassador Diop stressed the importance of holding exhibitions in the two countries, which paves the way for Syrian and Iranian companies to determine the priorities of each party's market and work to meet the needs of the local market from its counterpart in the other country, pointing out that there are efforts to provide all facilities for Iranian companies so that they can complete many of their projects in addition to efforts.
