After the serious accident with two dead in the Berlin district of Treptow, the alleged driver of the car does not have to be in custody.
The judge at the standby court had rejected the application for an arrest warrant because of doubts about the urgent suspicion and because there were no grounds for detention, the attorney general said on Wednesday via her Twitter account.

In the accident, two men died, the third passenger is still in mortal danger.
