The corona projector, Prof. Nachman Ash, clarified today (Wednesday) that the Ministry of Health is interested in extending the closure until Sunday.
In an interview here Monday, the project manager said that the Ministry of Health is expected to return to its original request at the cabinet meeting to be held during the day regarding the strategy to exit the closure.
The cabinet meeting regarding the exit strategy was set earlier this week, so it was decided that the closure would end on Friday morning, and that today the ministers would discuss how to get back to routine.
However, this morning Ash warned that the decline in morbidity had actually been halted and that the Ministry of Health would return to the demand to extend the closure until Sunday.
"Obviously the situation will not improve after the opening," Ash said in an interview.
"If we open the economy irresponsibly, there is a situation where we will need another closure later."
