This year there should really be something with the new recycling center for Langenpreising on Deutlmooser Straße.
“We are the next to come”, so the hopeful announcement by Mayor Josef Straßer (FWG) when asked.
Long pricing - Nevertheless, the months of delays that existed had to be justified.
Because last May, Straßer had spoken of a tender in June and commissioning in 2020 (we reported).
There were delays in another project of this type in the district, said Straßer.
In the meantime, the district office and the VG have largely completed the preparatory work.
The rainwater disposal exemption ordinance has also been processed, as the mayor noted with a smile.
The new recycling center will offer the Langenpreisinger more disposal options than before and in most cases save them the trip to neighboring Wartenberg.
It is built by the district, which is responsible for waste disposal.
Straßer now wants to speed up, because: “We want to get ahead in the center of the village.” That is directly related to the recycling center, because only when it is finished can the ugly containers disappear next to the old forge.
As long as these are still there, the community cannot implement its considerations in the context of village renewal.
Funds for the village center have already been made available in the budget.
These also affect the old forge, a building that is important for the economic history of the municipality.
Strasser is already looking through old plans and drawings.
The building has a crack in the brickwork on the back, which is also getting wider and wider, so that hardly anyone expects that the forge can be preserved.
The aim in this area is to make estrogen more accessible, usable and more tangible.
The first plans and models for the river already exist.
