The Guardia di Finanza of Torre Annunziata (Naples) seized assets for 166 thousand euros from the wife and mother-in-law of a prominent affiliate of the Gionta clan who, for 15 years, unduly received the annuity reserved for the families of the victims of organized crime

.

The two women are the wife and daughter of one of the victims of the so-called "Sant'Alessandro massacre" but the boss's wife declared herself unmarried when she presented the documents for the annuity, then obtained in 2002. During the subsequent checks, the wife of the boss also staged a fake separation, so as not to lose the benefit.

In the Sant'Alessandro massacre, which took place on August 26, 1984 (the day the saint is celebrated) in Torre Annunziata (Naples), eight people were killed and another seven wounded by Camorra killers who opened fire in front of a club of fishermen from a tourist bus.

Among the victims was AF, husband and father of the two women under investigation who 18 years after the tragedy obtained the annuity reserved for the families of the victims of organized crime.

The daughter of the victim of the Camorra, however, in the meantime got married to a prominent member of the Gionta Camorra clan who, over the years, was commissioned to manage the racketeering and the dealing squares in the area.

Circumstance ignored by the woman who then obtained the annuity together with her mother.

In 2009 the Prefecture of Naples updated the information collected on their family situation, to verify the extraneousness to delinquent environments but the two women staged a false separation between the spouses before the Court of Torre Annunziata, in order not to lose the annuity.

This circumstance is confirmed by the fact, according to investigators, that the couple, several years later, also had another daughter.

The wife of the boss and also the mother-in-law continue, even today, to visit the boss in prison, where he is accused of association with the mafia, extortion and robbery.

The kidnapping by the Fiamme Gialle, which sifted through the banking and financial transactions of the two women, was made possible also thanks to the close collaboration with the Prefecture of Naples.
