Today, the Iraqi Civil Defense Directorate announced that one person was killed and two others were injured when a truck capsized in Muthanna, southern Iraq.
Alsumaria News quoted the directorate as saying in a statement that its teams were able to intervene and save two people after a truck capsized and fell in a puzzle project in Al-Rumaitha district in Al-Muthanna governorate, after it was exposed to a collision with a motorcycle that led to the death of the bike driver immediately.
The statement added that the civil defense rescue teams resorted to the use of hydraulic cutting and separating devices to cut the wreckage of the vehicle, take out the injured and secure their transfer to the nearby hospital to receive the necessary treatment, while the body of the bike driver was recovered.
