Paraguayan authorities presented on Tuesday the action plan for vaccination against covid-19, in which they divided the priority groups into three stages.
The first includes health workers and people aged 60 and over.
The second phase includes people between 18 and 59 years old with underlying diseases.
Also to initial and primary level teachers, essential services workers and indigenous population.
In third place are workers at airports and points of entry to the country, military personnel, police, firefighters and people in prison.

The announcements about the vaccination plan in Paraguay were made by doctors Dorys Roig, director of Coordination of Sanitary Regions of the Ministry of Health, and Viviana de Egea, director of Communicable Diseases of Health Surveillance, at a press conference.
The tentative vaccination schedule foresees that each of these phases lasts between four and six weeks.
The first to receive the doses will be the health personnel.
Key dates for vaccination in Paraguay
The authorities indicated that from this Thursday they will enable a platform on the website of the Ministry of Health called "Vaccinate COVID-19."
There will be the registration forms and information about the stages and frequently asked questions about the process.

On February 8, they will release the list of establishments that will administer the doses.
Health personnel will be able to register on February 10.
While for the general population it will be enabled "later", they indicated.
On Saturday, President Mario Abdo Benítez reported that the country will receive some 300,000 vaccines against covid-19, through the global initiative Covax, during the second half of February.
Authorities expect immunization to reach 30% of the population this year and 60% in 2022.
As of Monday, the Ministry of Health confirmed 133,781 cases of coronavirus and 2,733 deaths associated with the disease.
