The Directorate of Education in Quneitra has returned 13 schools in the localities of the governorate in Damascus and its countryside and on the governorate's land, after rehabilitating and maintaining them at a cost of 600 million Syrian pounds.
The Director of Education, Imad Al-Asaad, said in a statement to SANA's correspondent that the technical workshops have completed the maintenance and rehabilitation work in thirteen schools during the current school year, indicating that the directorate’s plan for the current year includes the rehabilitation of 48 schools in the Quneitra children’s communities in Damascus and its countryside and on the governorate’s land at an estimated cost of around one billion and four hundred million Syrian Pound.
The head of the school buildings department, Eng. Omar Al-Omar, indicated that the 13 schools that were rehabilitated contain about 150 classroom and administrative halls and their annexes.
