Russia announced that it is currently not getting any profit from selling the Sputnik V vaccine to other countries.
The director of the Russian Direct Investment Fund, Kirill Dmitriev, said in an interview with Sky News: “The price of the Russian Sputnik V vaccine against the Corona virus for foreign countries will approach 10 dollars and almost cover our investments only,” adding, “We will sell the vaccine at a price very close to the price specified now and we are not getting Big profit from the proceeds ... We are just trying to recover our investment. ”
Dmitriev noted that vaccine designers view the matter as a matter of responsibility before society.
It is noteworthy that Sputnik V is the first registered vaccine in the world to prevent Covid 19 disease and was developed at the Russian Gamalia Center for Epidemiology and Microbiology Research in cooperation with the Russian Investment Fund.
The International Medical Journal confirmed in a report that the Russian Sputnik V vaccine is 91.6 percent effective, highly safe, and provides full protection against all acute Covid 19 cases.
