is unimpressed by the corona pandemic.
The Munich-based technology group surprisingly raised the forecast for the financial year running until the end of September on Wednesday.
According to this, the net profit in 2020/21 is to increase by at least 20 percent to 5.0 to 5.5 billion euros after 4.2 billion in the previous year.
So far, the company had targeted a plus of five percent.

Despite the
Corona
pandemic,
Siemens made
a surprisingly strong start to the new fiscal year.
In the past first quarter of the financial year, the Bavarians improved sales by seven percent after adjusting for currency effects to EUR 14.07 billion.
Incoming orders increased by 15 percent to 15.94 billion euros, and profits even by a whopping 38 percent to 1.5 billion euros.
"I am grateful to be able to hand over such a strong company to the new management team," said the outgoing CEO Joe Kaeser.
