Various texts of short and very short stories presented by Muhammad Yassin Sobeih, Fadia Issa Qarajeh and Jaafar Nayouf during a literary meeting in the Arab Cultural Center Hall in Jableh.

The writer Karadah read excerpts from short stories that dealt with various topics of individual creativity, women's concerns, child labor, the phenomenon of administrative corruption and love.

Subaih also read very short stories that talk about general concerns that address issues from reality, including social and economic, under different headings, explaining in a statement to SANA's correspondent that this literary genre has been focused on and developing its mechanisms where the story does not exceed six lines and has its nature, style and conditions that differ slightly from the regular short story. And long.

Nayouf read very short stories with social and national content, including those that reflect the events that Syria has gone through.

It is noteworthy that Qarajeh has five printed collections, including Space for Life, White Desires, and the People of the Cave, and currently she has a novel entitled Marj Al Zuhoor in print.

Sobeih, president of the Association for the very short story in Syria, has a collection of printed stories in the very short story entitled A Window Without a Wall, whose topics vary on economic and social concern, sentiments and meditation, while Nayouf has a collection of stories in progress.
