The Russian embassy to Britain criticized the statements of British Foreign Minister Dominic Raab after a court ruling in Moscow sentenced Alexei Navalny to prison for embezzlement and called for his immediate and unconditional release.
The embassy said in a statement on "Twitter" that it was surprised by the rude and incompetent accusations by Dominic Raab, a diplomat and lawyer who deny Russian justice and Russia's right to apply its laws to Alexei Navalny for breaching parole.
A court in the Russian capital, Moscow, had sentenced the Russian dissident Alexei Navalny to three and a half years in prison, with the enforcement of a corruption case that had previously been issued against him, in which a suspended sentence was imposed on its background.
