Tishreen Club won second place in the general standings in the Republic Championship for clubs and sports houses in karate, which was held recently in Damascus for the age groups under 14, 16 and 18 years.
In the group fighting competitions, Tishreen won the silver medal, with the participation of players, Majd Salkan, Ghadeer Dali, Karam Muhammad, Jamil Tamuz, Ammar Bouchih and Zain Fayyad.
In the singles championship, Batoul Baghdad won the gold medal, while Majd, Rakan Al-Tarif and Hanin Unaizah won the bronze medal.
In a statement to the SANA sports correspondent in Lattakia, coach Yasser Baghdad indicated that the club achieved good results that reflected the technical level and development of the game in the club, as it is expected for the club's players to compete strongly for the first places in the upcoming tournaments.
