French forward Moussa Dembélé is the fourth Atlético de Madrid player to test positive for covid-19 in the space of a week, the leading team of the Spanish league confirmed this Thursday.
The club said in a statement that the forward, who arrived on loan to Atlético de Madrid in January, was isolated at home in accordance with league protocol.
Atleti announced just 24 hours before that the club's record signing João Félix had tested positive for covid-19.
Last Saturday it was also confirmed that defender Mario Hermoso and winger Yannick Carrasco yielded positive results.
Atlético, who currently hold a 10-point lead at the top of the Spanish top division with one game less, host Celta de Vigo at home on Monday.
