The Labor Party led by Merav Michaeli and the Tnufa party led by Ofer Shelach will not run together, after failing to reach agreements in a conversation they held today (Thursday) at noon.
Shelach has said in recent weeks that he will not cause a waste of votes in the left-wing bloc and is expected to announce his retirement from the race, compared to Michaeli who continues to rise in the polls.
"Regular updates on the last day for closing the lists for the Knesset
" Unfortunately, the negotiations were not assisted, "said Michaeli." I thank Ofer Shelach for the dialogue.
"Ofer is an esteemed member and an excellent politician, I hope to see him join the Labor Party soon and I am sure that we will cooperate in the future."

Shelach was a senior member of Bish Atid, one of the founders and founders of the party, until last year, when he demanded to hold primaries in the party and, which was rejected, decided to go independent.
After the dissolution of the Knesset, he retired from Mish Atid and formed the Tnufa party with Roi Cohen, president of the Lahav organization representing the independents.
He later added former IDF spokeswoman Ruth Yaron as a candidate on the list.
In recent weeks, he called for negotiations on unions and connections on the left with Ron Huldai's Israelis and the Labor Party, but the contacts did not mature.
In recent days he has tried to negotiate with Michaeli, who refused to put the momentum party in the union on a joint list. Labor sources estimated that the two also failed to reach agreements on a place to send on the list and therefore negotiations failed.
