An individual was arrested by the police this Thursday, February 4 in the morning, in Toulon (83), as part of the investigation into the beheaded man on Monday, said the Toulon prosecutor's office in

It is about a homeless man who would have been present in the apartment where the crime was committed on Monday, a few minutes before the main respondent threw the cardboard containing the head of his victim out the window.
The police of the Departmental Directorate of Public Security of Var (DDSP), to which the investigation was entrusted, arrested the man early this Thursday on the port of Toulon, according to the prosecution.

The homeless would have spent the evening and the morning in the apartment where the drama took place.

Surveillance cameras show him in the company of the victim, alcoholic drinks in hand, going the day before the crime to the apartment of the main suspect,
" said the magistrate.
He would have left the apartment only a few minutes before the victim's head was thrown out the window,
"shirtless and a beer in hand"
.

For investigators it is now a question of clarifying his alleged role in the drama which led to the death of a 56-year-old man.
Investigations are continuing.
An autopsy performed Wednesday in Marseille had also shown that the victim had received numerous stab wounds.
